When it snows, there are several reasons why it becomes quiet:
- When snow accumulates on the ground, it absorbs sound. Snow has the highest sound-absorbing capacity in the air, so when it accumulates, sound is either not heard or heard very little. - Since snow usually falls when the wind is weak, the sound caused by the wind also decreases, making it quiet.
Therefore, it is generally quieter during snowfall.
